2009紐約車展搶先報：ACURA Crossover正式命名ZDX

即將在4月8日開幕的2009美國紐約車展，雖然盛況不如過去，卻仍是許多車廠樂意投入的大型廟會，縱使金融海嘯從大蘋果發生，但口袋麥克麥克的人卻大有人在；而AutoNet先前曾報導有關ACURA全新Crossover的消息，現在又取得最新訊息，那就是車名已經定案，叫做ZDX！
結合Coupe與SUV外觀特色於一身的ZDX，預計在2009年秋季於北美市場開始銷售，不過在紐約車展中仍以Prototype型態出現，但根據以往的經驗來看，基本上和量產型態已經相去不遠，了不起在燈組或者細部有些差異化，但在這般景氣下更動幅度肯定不大。
ZDX是以ACURA大型SUV MDX底盤為基礎所開發而來，也就是Inspire的轎式Crossover，定位上介於RDX與MDX之間，開發代號為2NX的ZDX，在原廠規劃下也將推出掛上HONDA廠徽的孿生車，不過ACURA ZDX更具跑車味，後門把手採用隱藏式設計，大走類似Coupe路線。此外，嶄新的後尾燈組設計及LED頭燈組都是這款新的特徵。至於水箱護罩，當然是採用ACURA家族的五角盾型。
此外，全新開發的ZDX擁有類似BMW X6的形體，並賦予四門Coupe的設計概念，動力上搭載與ACURA TL、MDX相同的V6 3.7升引擎，擁有306hp的強勁馬力，變速系統則可能配置五速手排，頂級也可能將F1撥片列為標配。當然頂級旗艦RL（也就是HONDA Legend）最引以為傲的SH-AWD四輪驅動系統也將出現在ZDX上。
雖然目前僅能見到身影，詳細規格和內裝甚至長相都還不清楚，但至少可確定BMW X6與INFINITI FX碰到對手了。
