    HONDA不堪經濟危機衝擊,日本停產Airwave等三款車!

雖說全球景氣有復甦的現象,中國汽車市場也上探1,600萬輛規模,各大車廠也紛紛加碼在當地投資,然而汽車工業發達的日本卻陷入苦戰,一來是新生代消費者對汽車需求低,二來整體經濟受日幣匯率居高不下沒有明顯起色,為了成本獲利考量,使得日系車廠開始調整產品陣容,不是面臨停產就是進行車型整合,像HONDA就確定在八月停產Airwave、Crossroad與Partner三款車。

Crossroad
在景氣大好、中國尚未崛起之前,日本車廠總是以相同底盤開發非常多車款,但才幾年光景這種作法似乎無法提振消售量與增加獲利,尤其受金融海嘯衝擊及廠商紛紛轉往中國投資後,日本車廠反而’調整比重,不僅生產線往海外移動,就連車款數量也遠低於過去,所以在2005年以Fit底盤為基礎所開發的轎式休旅車Airwave和商用版Partner,與2007年才投入市場、搭載1.8L/2.0L兩具引擎的Crossroad,將從8月底消失在HONDA位於日本三重縣鈴鹿市的鈴鹿廠,意思就是說這三款車要停產。

根據了解,Airwave、Crossroad、Partner從問世以來在日本市場表現穩定,平均每個月約銷售1,400輛,但2008年底開始數量減少,尤其在金融海嘯後數量一度減至800輛規模,加上年輕族群的用車觀念改變及日本社會少子化越來越嚴重,這般數量根本不符合經濟效益,且HONDA旗下也有相類似產品,故決定停產Airwave、Crossroad、Partner三款車,以維持本身的經營。

至於未來HONDA的車款開發重點在哪裡?當然就是Hybrid!
