HONDA要走Hybrid路線！2.5L以上車款全部油電一起來

與NISSAN並稱日本技術力雙霸的HONDA，產品向來走年輕運動化定位，這點就如同德國BMW般，然而因HONDA的產品規劃跟不上市場變化腳步，使得HONDA逐漸朝主流靠攏，尤其在投入Hybrid領域，並陸續推出Civic Hybrid、Insight、CR-Z、Fit Hybrid後，也讓高層開始思考未來的發展，根據AutoNet最新獲得獨家消息，2012年起HONDA不僅要研發Plug-in技術，更把2.5L以上排氣量引擎組成的Hybrid列入新車款陣容中。

放眼目前HONDA在日本的產品陣容，13款乘用車、3款輕型車、1款商用輕型車總計17款車種，如此少的車款堪稱歷年最低，不僅強調性能的車款全部消失，甚至連動力心臟也進行簡化，但Hybrid車款倒是增加許多，打從原有的Civic Hybrid、新Insight到CR-Z和即將問世的Fit Hybrid，Hybrid似乎成為HONDA接下來的發展目標和戰略。就AutoNet所得到的消息，2012年起Plug-in Hybrid將出現在產品陣容中，同時Insight的引擎排氣量將從1.3L提升至1.5L，Civic Hybrid更將搭載鋰氫電池，此外Airwave後繼車（具備Hybrid）、小型Hybrid車也將陸續出現。

不過較為人注意的是，HONDA似乎僅著重在小排氣量引擎的Hybrid車款上，大排氣量好像沒什麼發展，其實不然，因為真要能達到節能效果，大排氣量比起小排氣量車款的成效更好，這也是HONDA著手進行的計畫。

所以在HONDA規劃下，接下來所有2.5L以上排氣量車款將增添Hybrid選擇，首先是Accord Hybrid，為2.5L直列四缸汽油引擎與電動馬達組合，爾後是以北美為主的Inspire、SUV、Minivan等都將增加Hybrid車款，另外CR-V、Odyssey、Legend等進入大改款後也將提供Hybrid車款給消費者選擇。只是一下子推出這麼多的油電產品，不知道消費者能否消化，萬一地球上某個地方又開採到石油，油價突然大崩盤，Hybrid肯定不會如現在般那麼熱，那HONDA不就虧大了。
