去年廣州國際車展會場，廣汽本田推出了基於原廠美規小改款車系推出的全新雅閣車系，而台灣本田也宣布將在今年推出全新HONDA Accord小改款車系，日前HONDA Cars馬來西亞分公司，也正式宣佈即日起於當地授權通路，全面發售全新世代的小改款新車，而且也同步發售原廠授權並且與新車同樣提供保固服務的套件組合。
根據HONDA Cars馬來西亞分公司日前公佈的消息顯示，比照原廠美規車型導入的改款新車，在整體車系編成方面儘管沒有太大幅度的改變，但全車系均將按鍵引擎啟動/熄火以及感應式鑰匙均列為標準配備，而且整車的NVH（Noise、Vibration、Harshness）抗噪制震對策也全面提升，而全新改款的2.0L Vti車型也換裝全新的真皮方向盤與排檔頭。
新車也因為前後保桿重新設計，讓車身尺碼小增為4960×1845×1480mm，軸距則維持為2800mm，儘管動力系統均為持原樣，但原廠公佈其效能表現均略為提升，其中汽油2.0L手排車款平均油耗為12.65km/L，自排車款為11.76km/L，汽油 2.4L車款平均油耗為11.63km/L，而全車系均將前座四具氣囊、ABS+EBD整合煞車系統列為標準配備，而2.4L以上車款均配置VSA動態車身穩定控制系統。
至於建議售價方面，入門的汽油2.0L VTi,報價14.28萬馬幣（約合新台幣139.4萬元），而2.0L VTi-L報價為14.98萬馬幣（約合新台幣146.2萬元），至於頂級車款汽油2.4L VTi-L報價為則為17.28萬馬幣（約合新台幣168.69萬元），至於頂級汽油3.5L V6動力旗艦則稍晚才會追加發售。
