因機油液面升高，中國東風本田全面停售HODNA CR-V 1.5 Turbo，台灣本田表示不受影響

中國大陸的東風本田汽車3月2日在官網上發布聲明，表示全新一代CR-V 1.5L渦輪增壓車型因「機油液位升高」，將暫停販售此一車型直到情況改善，而台灣本田目前也販售相同的車型，不過台灣並未有相似的情況發生，台灣本田也及時發出聲明，表示目前這種情況僅發生於中國製造的引擎，台灣不受影響。
上周中國大陸東風本田NEW CR-V的機油異常上升，按中國官方的汽車缺陷汽車召回管理條例等相關法令，將暫停銷售此一車型。台灣本田在聲明中表示，，目前解析得知僅發生於中國產製的引擎，且需極度寒冷區域(約-20∘C以下環境)使用才有可能發生。台灣因位處於亞熱帶，因此完全無此類型問題發生，顧客無須擔心。
目前在台灣販售的新一代的HONDA CR-V引擎部件，初估主要是由日本製造，因此推斷和東風本田停售的CR-V沒有關係，目前在台灣也沒有發生或發現相似的狀況和案例。HODNA CR-V目前全球大多數數市場幾乎都是最暢銷的車款，在台灣因為需求旺，產能有限，一直處於缺車狀況。
事實上，機油液面過度升高有可能造成機油溢出，進而可能導致燃燒進而發生火燒車，過去其他品牌也曾發生過機油油壺設計的問題，造成機油溢出而火燒車，最後進行大規模召回行動。
