    互助共生,HONDA將採用GM廠房製造純電動跨界車

早在去年4月份時,HONDA與美國GM集團就已經達成合作協議,在2024前,HONDA將會採用GM最新的Ultium電池技術與電動車平台,來打造兩款純電動車。如今則是進一步傳出,這兩款電動車不但會是跨界設定,還會交由GM集團位於美國田納西以及墨西哥的廠區來負責生產。

根據消息指出,這兩款交由GM生產的純電跨界車款將分屬HONDA與ACURA兩個品牌,其中HONDA的跨界電動車將會在2023年開始於GM位於墨西哥Ramos Arizpe廠區生產,而ACURA的跨界車型則是會在2024年於原本旗下品牌SATURN在田納西Spring Hill的廠區生產。

另一方面,也傳出HONDA與ACURA的這兩款純電跨界車的整體尺碼將會與GM集團旗下的CADILLAC Lyriq相去不遠,由於將會搭載GM最新的Ultium電池技術,所以也會擁有號稱能夠達到450英里(約725公里)的最大續航力。此外,雖然在電池技術與車輛平台將會共用,但外觀與內裝都會由HONDA自家來設計,所以可以預期這兩款車型不會只是GM電動車的貼牌作品。

雖然HONDA與GM雙方都尚未對外證實這項計畫,但其實在去年9月,這兩個汽車製造商就已經宣告將共享包括GM的平台架構、電動、內燃引擎等動力系統以及自動駕駛技術等方面合作,也會共同研發像是車輛互聯、燃料電池等等技術,再加上這個計畫對雙方來說,既能節省成本也能將資源更有效率的運用,照這樣的脈絡看下來,雙方證實這個消息應該也是時間的問題。
