本田與日產汽車 600億美元合併案因控股問題而宣告破局，三菱也退出合併計畫

本田汽車（HONDA）與日產汽車（NISSAN）雙方原本企圖心旺盛的 600 億美元合併計劃，如今已正式宣告取消，該合併計劃目的原本想打造全球最大的汽車製造商。在今天的雙方官方聲明中，兩家公司也終止了與三菱進行潛在三方合作的討論。然而他們三方並沒有完全關閉未來合作的大門，特別是在「智慧和電動車」領域。因此，雖然合併已經結束，但這場舞會還沒結束。
兩家公司都發布了類似的聲明，證實了先前外界的揣測與傳言。根據本田汽車所說，他們探討了業務整合的所有選項，但對於整合的具體方案有不同的看法。具體來說，本田有志於成為母公司，這被廣泛視為 12 月 23 日取消諒解備忘錄 (MOU) 的主要癥結所在。
日產汽車則在聲明中解釋道，本田已提議改變交易結構。最初，他們討論成立一家聯合控股公司，各方擁有平等的發言權。但本田想要改變這種狀況，提出採用其作為母公司而日產作為子公司的模式。
根據上週外媒的報道，日產不同意這種合作結構，目前正在尋找其他合作夥伴，包括來自台灣的科技製造巨頭富士康（鴻海）。日產在結論中表示，結束談判的決定將使兩家公司能夠「優先考慮決策速度」並適應快速變化的汽車市場變局，特別是在汽車產業走向電動化的過程中。換句話說，他們希望確保自己能夠迅速轉變，並且不會陷入企業權力鬥爭的泥淖中。日產的官方聲明中指出，這一結果將使汽車製造商「在邁向電動化時代的快速變化的市場環境中優先考慮決策速度和管理政策的實施」。
隨著雙方合併案的破局，本田、日產和三菱證實，三方合作的談判也到此結束。不過，三家汽車製造商將繼續「在專注於智慧電動車時代的戰略夥伴關係框架內」開展合作。他們仍將在電動化和軟體開發方面展開聯手合作，作為在電動車領域保持競爭力（尤其是與中國競爭對手的競爭）的更廣泛努力的一部分，而這項聯盟也在 8 月 1 日簽署的合作備忘錄中也有所陳述。
