日本HONDA汽車於2000年10月26日發表的都會7人座新式乘用車STREAM，推出後受到全球高度注目，而在日本銷售成績亮麗，每月超過8000輛的銷售台數，使供應海外的速度與數量都受到限制。南陽HONDA汽車為滿足台灣新世紀消費者對都會轎式7人座乘用車的需求，正加快引進此款新車，認證車已於3月12日到港，正式揭開引進HONDA STREAM 在台銷售的序幕。
據南陽公司表示，由於配額限制下，今年只能引進約1000輛 STREAM，而且無法一次全數進口，日本HONDA 汽車只能針對台灣採取按月配額供應方式，每月提供台灣市場的數量僅在200台左右，對HONDA STREAM有興趣的消費者，盡快前往HONDA汽車全省展示點洽詢，以免向隅。
