繼CR–V的RV銷售熱潮後，剛上市的HONDA STREAM一推出即受到消費者高度注目。除六月份的100輛配額在上市前就被預訂一空之外，7月份的配額也已全數銷售完畢。
今年起便進入週休二日的時代，國人對都會型新式乘用車的需求量更形增加。而1+6人座全新概念未來式新行動乘坐空間HONDA STREAM的推出，更滿足了消費者平日個人用車與假日出遊的多重需求，因此上市後比預期還要受到消費者的歡迎。
在日本HONDA STREAM累計的銷售數已超過600000台，目前更以每個月12000輛的亮麗銷售成績持續成長中，因此使得可供應海外市場的速度與數量都受到限制。而南陽HONDA汽車雖然在今年努力與母廠爭取，也只能取得約500輛的配額，在這個限制之下，更無法一下子全數進口，南陽表示目前才訂車的消費者需要等到8月下旬才能交車。
正當國人購車陷於配備的迷思時，只有HONDA汽車堅持車輛本質的訴求，因為HONDA汽車相信，高級房車的價值不只是內裝配備而已，而是運用高科技進化駕馭樂趣來提升車輛主、被動安全的新標準。
