HONDA ASV-3第三代安全車輛問世，二輪四輪2008年量產化

一直以人車安全為開發重點的日本HONDA，在九月二日公佈先進安全汽車計劃ASV-3的成果，並一次推出二輪機車與四輪房車，並期望的短期內達到零危險的安全駕駛。

雖然日本在發展ITS高度道路交通系統的較其他國家晚，但腳步卻從來沒有停止過，尤其隨著無線傳輸技術的進步與汽車科技的精進，許多車輛多已經和ITS結合。HONDA繼2000年發表ASV-2先進安全汽車計畫後，又在九月初對外展現進化版ASV-3。

新一代的先進車輛安全配備，包含預知型路況通報、結合煞車系統的感知器、雙向駕駛人狀態通報系統、機車夜間安全、車輛訊息通信系統、轉向頭燈等，同時在諸多的配備中，也結合衛星導航定位、GPRS、GPS隨時掌握交通道路資訊。當然以行人為主的感測型機構，更能在路口便偵測行人動向，進而以無線傳輸至車輛電腦中央處理器，來啟動煞車減速系統。

根據HONDA的計畫，這種先進的安全系統將在2008年運用在量產車上，估計推出後將會造成汽車科技的一大震撼，同時也意味日本邁入高度道路交通安全時代已經來臨。
