練了再上─HONDA英國機車展售中心將全面配置機車模擬駕駛儀

HONDA是當今全球最主要的機車製造商之一，向來對於提升機車騎乘安全不遺餘力，日前HONDA決定在三年內，於英國所有機車展示中心內，配置機車模擬駕駛儀，以提供消費者學習機車基本騎乘觀念，以及危機應變技巧。
早在1989年HONDA即發展出第一套機車模擬駕駛儀，1993年HONDA更已先進的電腦與3D影像技術，大幅增加了模擬駕駛儀德擬真度；2004年HONDA成為唯一與歐盟簽訂道路安全憲章的機車製造商，致力於改善道路與駕駛安全，因此HONDA決定讓更多的消費者，可以藉由模擬器，練習機車的騎乘技術。
而HONDA研發的機車模擬駕駛儀，基本上是一具個人電腦為基礎，放置於專屬設計的支架上，並與模擬把手、腳踏板等部件連接，其實就有如現今已相當普遍的電玩賽車模擬器般，消費者可藉由開模擬器，練習油門與煞車控制與應變技巧，以進一步提升騎乘觀念。
HONDA可以說是最投入機車安全的車廠，全球第一輛搭載機車防護氣囊的GL1800 Gold Wing即將於2006年夏天問世，在2007年以前HONDA也將決定把ABS等煞車輔助系統，全面導入全車系之中，讓HONDA的機車都可以有最佳的安全防護。
