泰國已經成為本田技研在亞洲除了日本以外，最重要的製造中心，而且深耕當地市場的時間也夠久最近在全球市場上相當紅的雙動力車款，對於本田來說，未來一定要面臨量產成本壓低的問題！
由於豐田已經在中國一汽量產了TOYOTA Prius，並且將以一汽豐田普瑞斯的名義投放市場，在雙動力汽車領域，同樣擁有技術領先地位的本田技研，當然也十分注意這項消息，日前本來也有傳出本田可能在中國量產雙動力車的計畫，不過現在原廠更屬意於泰國投產！
至於台灣，第一個還不足以構成市場規模，而且以生產據點的大小來看，在亞洲的地位可以遠遠落後在廣州、武漢與曼谷之後！
