為環保、愛台灣，HONDA鐵飯團俱樂部48小時環台接力準備

要騎單車以接力方式在48小時內環台，倘若沒有超人的毅力，想要完成恐怕很難，但這樣的活動既健康又環保，如今CR-V車主所組成的「HONDA Fun Club」鐵飯團俱樂部，在8月9日將舉行48小時環台，廣邀熱愛鐵馬運動的同好共襄盛舉。
由一群熱愛HONDA CR-V的車主組成一個「HONDA Fun Club」汽車網站，中文名稱即為“飯團”汽車網站。這群愛騎車的飯團開著CR-V載著單車到處騎，並互稱”鐵馬飯團”，簡稱”鐵飯團”。這群”鐵飯團”到處結交愛騎車的朋友，常常相互拍照互留E-mail在網站上分享。但是飯團屬於半封閉型網站，限制須Honda車主才可進入閱覽，就因為車主身分的限制，造成非HONDA車主的騎車同好無法進入閱覽，所以在新竹科學園區工作的Richard選擇自己架設一個開放的空間，取名“鐵飯團”來讓愛騎單車的所有同好可以一同分享我們的心得與成果。
鐵飯團成立一年半來已成為台灣最大的全省性單車俱樂部之一，會員遍佈全省，2004年136車隊號召全省各車隊串聯，要舉辦接力方式48小時環島。由於是用車隊串聯方式導致有幾段差點開天窗，2006年8月鐵飯團舉辦第一屆環台接力，也是台灣第一個由單一車隊用接力方式完成48小時環台的單車俱樂部。
以「為環保、愛台灣-讓自己更健康」為主提的2007年48小時環台活動，乃鑑於汽機車的大量使用，使能源枯竭，並產生大量廢汽及熱效應，造成環境的浩劫。鐵飯團希望藉此喚醒大家對環境保護有實質活動，來愛護我們的家園。
活動日程簡介 (8月9日-8月12日)
8月9日 ︰本日晚間進駐工作人員
8月10日︰早上舉行出發儀式後，車隊出發進行環台接力
8月11日︰環台接力進行中
8月12日︰早上回到雲林麥寮拱範宮，參加慶祝活動，活動結束
