一向注重環保的HONDA，是目前唯一同時擁有油電混合動力與燃料電池動力量產車的車廠，去年國產的HONDA Accord 3.0也獲得國內環保署所評比的2004年環保轎車，國產車第一名的殊榮；而在英國，HONDA為了讓消費者更容易辨別新車於排污上的表現，今年HONDA將在展示間內，依據每輛車每公里排放二氧化碳的數值，為銷售的新車貼上不同的顏色標章作為辨別，讓消費者輕易的選擇符合自己想要的環保車款。
HONDA 所生產的油電混合動力車款Insight，是唯一每公里二氧化碳排放量低於80克的車款，Insight與Civic IMA是英國目前市場上唯二的油電混合動力車款，他們將會的最佳的綠色標章；根據調查，新車的環保與省油效率表現，是英國消費者購車時的依據，因此HONDA希望藉由這樣的機制，讓消費者了解HONDA新車的環保表現，雖然HONDA於顏色上有所區分，但整體而言HONDA的新車的排污表現都遠低於標準值。
