    HONDA次世代泛用型發動機iGX400,全球首創電子控制式轉速技術

以發動機起家的HONDA,於四月20日發表了次世代泛用型新機種iGX400,除了擁有更低的污染與高經濟油耗外,更採用世界首創電子控制轉速新技術,而這種技術一旦成熟,未來將可使用在汽機車引擎上。

排氣量438cc、可發揮15hp馬力的空冷四行程單缸iGX400發動機,其所使用的電子控制式引擎轉速技術STR(Self Tuning Regulator)Governor,基本上就是利用ECU運算與供油量變化,自動調整引擎轉速,來維持發動機穩定運轉。此外,為了提升操作上的便利性,捨棄傳統的線組,而使用無線傳輸來取代。這點也是目前汽車引擎所無法克服之處,所以有了這次成功的例子,相信HONDA可在短時間內開發出符合汽機車使用的引擎。

這具最新研發的發動機,已通過美國環境保護局Phase II與CARB加州大氣資源局TierII的設定值,並較標準值減少30%的空污。如果與同級的發動機相較,油耗經濟性提升15%,噪音值也減少4dB。
