    底特律車展新車,HONDA Accord Coupe Concept登場

要知道下一代國產Accord長什麼樣子嗎?先看看美規HONDA Accord Coupe Concept就知道,這個模樣看起來可是跑味十足,日規四門版則計畫在今年十月正式量產,台灣則在2008年!

從1976年問世至今已經超過30個年頭的Accord,可是HONDA非常成功的戰略車款,這回在北美底特律車展亮相的Accord Coupe Concept,等於預告第八代全新車型的長相。如果與現行款相較,概念雙門版在造型設計上充滿稜角,也就是更為凶悍,因為是雙門房跑車定位,這樣的概念是必要的;倘若在普羅大眾的四門房車上,原廠勢必會做修正。

全新六角型水箱護罩可是HONDA在北美的傳統,包角式複合尾燈組、四排氣尾管、車側誇張弧線、低扁銳利頭燈組、大型前氣壩等,則彰顯Accord Coupe Concept的運動化路線。嚴格來說,Accord Coupe Concept雖然為雙門設定,但在低斜的C柱設計下,卻也散發出類似斜背的造型,整體上呈現出雙門斜背的視覺效果。

動力上Accord Coupe Concept搭載一具低污染的V6 i-VTEC引擎,並配置HONDA全新開發的次世代VCM(Variable Cylinder Management )氣門活塞管理系統,雖然尚未公佈任何功率數據,但這具動力心臟的油耗表現可是非常亮麗,平均每加侖可行駛29.2英哩(差不多每公升為12公里),比同級車的每加侖25.3英哩(每公升約11公里)的數據還漂亮。

至於安全性上,Accord Coupe Concept採用HONDA專利的ACE(Advanced Compatibility Engineering)車體結構,其車頭能吸收來自前方撞擊的能量,不但可減緩車室乘員的衝擊,對撞擊車輛或人都有幫助;同時這種新車體設計也能承受來自不同高度車輛的撞擊,簡單來說安全係數比過去都來得更高。

過去雖然會分成美規或日規等不同產品,但在全球戰略的分工下,HONDA勢必會為了成本而作修正,或許在2008年導入國產化後Accord不會長得如此運動個性化,但可確定的是,當第八代新Accord問市後必然會引起市場不小的震撼。
