隨著Accord Coupe在今年底特律車展中亮相，這意味著新Accord四門也快要誕生，當然也關係到國產化車型的腳步，據說2008年第二季就會導入國產化。
根據AutoNet所掌握的獨家訊息，下一代國產化Accord將不遵循Civic採用日規版，而是走北美版路線，外觀造型上與已經現身的Accord Coupe有非常明顯區隔，唯一不變的就是六角型水箱護罩。內裝鋪陳則強調個性化，但空間會變得更為寬敞，為什麼？因為底盤就是現行款的Legend！
如果底盤平台沿用現行款Legend，那驅動系統少不就….，下一代Accord除了前輪驅動外，更加入SH-AWD的四輪驅動系統，也就是說新Accord必會擁有此項科技，倘若這樣那可是台灣中大型房車首創，自然在操控性能得以凌駕TOYOTA Camry、NISSAN Teana等同級對手。
動力上共分為直四2.0、2.4升與V6的3.5升三種等級，其中頂級的3.5升馬力高達300hp，並配置五速手自排變速系統，而SH-AWD系統也是標準行頭，這下必然能創造市場上的話題。
至於售價，基於原物料價格上漲，預估2.0升將從80萬元起跳，2.4升可能會破百萬大關，3.5升或許將挑戰150-160萬。
