HONDA Accord Coupe Concept

沒錯，現行北美市場銷售的Camry Solara雙門轎跑車，產品定位剛好與Accord Coupe形成直接競爭的關係，堪稱是兩大日裔美系平價雙門轎跑車的代表，但是近幾年來，北美市場的平價中大型雙門轎跑車，因為RV風潮的驅使，整個市場級距卻面臨有史以來最明顯的萎縮，日前居然傳出TOYOTA原廠考慮現行Camry Solara未來停產後，將不在當地市場推出同類型的後繼車款…
不過有趣的是，在TOYOTA傳出這項消息的同時，不久前於2007年底特律北美車展上，HONDA北美總部還高調發表稱為Accord Coupe的雙門轎跑概念車款，而且已經相當接近量產的規模，不過也有不少北美當地的車壇觀察家表示，看到底特律車展所發表的新一代Accord Coupe原型概念車款，都可以發現未來這輛新車即使量產，產品定位與售價將更接近包括M-BENZ CLK與BMW三系列轎跑車之流，可與現行平價轎跑車的定位截然不同，不過若Camry Solara真的停產，所遺留下來的市場空白，也不見得全數給了新一代Accord Coupe，底特律車展推出售價比 Camry Sloara低上一截的NISSAN Altima Coupe收編潛在買家的機率也不低！
