    完全為了環保,HONDA 2009年柴油車日本販售確定!

於2006年發表的柴油動力科技,讓HONDA在動力科技居於日本車廠領先地位,如今原廠更計畫在2009年率先推出柴油乘用房車,以替環保和經濟盡一份心力。

雖然HONDA業已投入Hybrid技術的研發,且Civic Hybrid也深受北美消費者青睞,但高一級的Accord Hybrid的銷售卻不如預期,且Hybrid系統的製造成本高,相對影響售價,對顧客來說無疑是一大負擔,所以多年前便開始研發柴油引擎,ICTDi引擎更在歐洲銷售,為了因應美國嚴格的排廢法規Tier II Bin 5,遂又開發出更乾淨、更省油的新柴油引擎。

再者,因柴油車開始在日本當地發酵,民眾對柴油的接受度大增,因此HONDA規劃在2009年要在日本開賣柴油乘用車, 這等同和TOYOTA Hybrid做出明顯分野,亦能凸顯HONDA在動力科技的領先地位。據了解HONDA的柴油引擎使用三階段轉換有害的氧化物-氮,或者說,將氮氧化物轉成無害的氮。這系統的觸媒轉化器有兩個階層,第一個階層是吸收來自這個引擎產生的廢氣中的氮氧化物,同時轉換一部份它所注入的尿素,第二階層則是吸收尿素。之後,這個尿素跟殘存的氮氧化物作用,轉換它成為無害的氮。

除了HONDA之外,MITSUBISHI、TOYOTA等也都將陸續投入柴油動力的開發行列,因此可預測的是,未來一場因能源問題所引發的柴油vs.混合動力大戰,恐怕在近幾年內於日本展開。
