HONDA V6柴油引擎北美環保登場

日本第二大車廠HONDA計劃在2010年於北美市場，推出配有低廢氣排放量V6柴油引擎的大型車款。此種搭配模式掌握了消費者矛盾的購車心態，想要擁有大空間的汽車，但又想要具備符合時下的節能環保需求。

HONDA似乎認為大型的柴油車款，正是一舉兩得的最佳產品。

HONDA研發的3.5升柴油引擎，能夠為新車帶來比汽油車優越30%的油耗率。根據HONDA發佈的消息指出，全新的柴油引擎，還能減少20%的汽車二氧化碳廢氣排放率，不過有害的一氧化氮以及其他汙染粒子，倒是沒有明顯的改善。

HONDA計劃率先在Odyssey廂式休旅車搭載這顆V6柴油引擎，稍後也有可能在休旅車Pilot、貨卡Ridgeline、高級車系列ACURA車款上搭載這顆全新的柴油心臟。這顆引擎能提高HONDA在汽車市場上的競爭力，其他車廠如DAIMLERCHRYSLER、BMW、VW…等，都會視HONDA為強勁的對手，
