〈快訊〉廣州本田在中國大陸獨資成立研究開發公司

根據最新消息，日前HONDA與中國大陸廣州汽車集團合資成立的廣州本田汽車，日前在當地投資約20億人民幣，成立了百分之百獨資的「廣州本田汽車研究開發有限公司」，並且計畫將在2010年發售現地生產的自主設計新車款，而由HONDA與廣州本田雙方合作將針對中國大陸市場發表另外一個全新汽車品牌，這也將創下第一家由合資雙方打造自有品牌汽車的首例。

為研發製造廣州本田自有品牌的新車款，雙方將共同投資設立生產線與測試場地，而且全新品牌汽車的產品定位會略低於HONDA品牌，以與市場佔有率愈來愈高的當地自有汽車品牌競爭，首任董事長為付守杰，總經理為日籍的畑季延，公司地址位於廣東省廣州市，占地面積約600萬平方公尺。
