小車當道，HONDA Fit奪下2008年日本年度風雲車！

繼歐洲年度風雲車由FIAT 500拿下後，日本COTY年度風雲車大賞也在日前公布，結果是HONDA Fit以壓倒性的得票數成為新霸主！
在這年頭要選出年度風雲車，對評審委員來說可是不簡單，因為在造車技術都已達一定水準後，就要以更嚴苛的標準審查每一款入圍車，不過因入圍車款都各有優點，且又分佈在各種級距，所以評審會就以車款等級作為基準點，再分門別類給分數，如此就不會有太大落差，否則年度風雲車入圍者有輕型車、SUV、性能車、小型車甚至進口車，要混在一起評分實在很難。
所以經過激烈競爭後，HONDA新Fit拔得頭籌，以374分和第二名的M-BENZ C-Class差距為75分，成為2008年COTY日本風雲車，第二名的M-BENZ C-Class，則是年度最佳進口車的冠軍。此外，評選會所增加的「Most Adcanced Technology」、「Most Fun」、「Best Value」三大特別賞，分別由VW Golf、MITSUBISHI Lancer Evo.X、DAIHATSU Mira獲得。
至於能得獎必定有其獨到之處，以下就是評審團給予獲獎五輛車的評價：
年度風雲車：HONDA Fit
承襲前一代的基本優點，再賦予符合時代標準的新設計，無論在操控、舒適性、環保、經濟都相當均衡，在眾多競爭對手中自然就脫穎而出。
年度進口風雲車：M-BENZ C-Class
這款車乃具備輕量化、高剛性與高質感的最佳表徵，同時又能兼具駕馭樂趣和舒適性，唯獨價格稍微偏高些。
Most Adcanced Technology：VW Golf
雙增壓系統引擎與DSG雙離合器變速系統，不僅能展現高性能，也具備省油的經濟效益，這在21世紀確實是不可多得的新技術。
Most Fun：MITSUBISHI Lancer Evo.X
讓駕駛人感到安心的性能車，所搭配的雙離合器SST系統，能在正確且迅速的時間內達到最佳動能，當然物超所值也是最吸引人的地方。
Best Value：DAIHATSU Mira
能輕易停入停車塔，車室空間講求寬敞舒適，且超省油的高經濟性，再加上平實的價格，將輕型車的本質完全凸顯。
