    油耗表現直逼四缸,HONDA新Accord美規版V6車型提高30﹪!

一場早就預期的能源危機,居然在四大金磚崛起之際提前到來,連帶的也影響車廠在產品規劃上的架構,一如HONDA在北美市場的戰略,就將Accord主力擺在強調低油耗經濟表現的直四2.4升引擎上,頂級的V6 3.5升卻比前一代Accord車系提高三成左右。

向來是北美市場最受歡迎中大型房車的Accord,在當地市場穩居同級車款的銷售冠軍其魅力大到連TOYOTA Camry也無法擋,因此在新一代Accord於九月在美國上市後,TOYOTA遂拉起一級警報。而HONDA在第八代Accord的等級設定,共有直四2.4升(177hp/190hp)與V6 3.5升(268hp)兩種引擎,其中V6版的銷售比率比起前一代增加了30﹪,更是TOYOTA Camry的三倍之多,莫非HONDA不畏高油價時代?

其實HONDA新Accord之所有比起過去有著30﹪的銷售成績,主要是採用VCM(Variable Cylinder Management)可變氣缸管理系統,這種技術早在2003年就已經推出,當時是以依照需求可從六缸變成三缸運作,而進化版則增加四缸運作功能,所以對整體油耗表現非常接近四缸引擎,當需要更大功率時則轉換成強勁的六缸。正因為如此,再加上美國市場多以大排氣量為主,所以HONDA有信心Accord 3.5升受消費者接受度將大增。

所以在2008年新Accord導入台灣國產化後,V6 3.5升在油耗表現必然會勝過同級的TOYOTA Camry、NISSAN Teana等,當然在既有的操控性能與優異的機械結構加持下,寬敞空間與豐富配備必會改寫中大型房車的銷售排行榜,看來TOYOTA Camry將會面臨前所未有的威脅。
