給我噴射其餘免談，HONDA泰國機車全面搭載PGM-FI系統

在全球越來越嚴苛的法規驅使下，原本使用化油器的機車也必須採用燃油噴射系統，雖然可提升燃燒效率降低污染，但相對的也提高成本，一如生產累計已突破1500萬台的泰國HONDA，將從2008年中以後將PGM-FI列為全車系標準配備。
1967年進軍泰國以來，HONDA二輪車事業深耕多年後終於在2007年9月達成生產累計1500萬台目標，有鑑於市場佔有率的領先者，HONDA在2003年8月起在泰國首度推出PGM-FI噴射引擎機車，然而礙於價格成本問題遲遲無法大大推廣，現在則因泰國實施的第六期環保法規即將於2009年底開始實施，為了替大自然盡一份心力，因此泰國HONDA二輪事業決定從2009年底起不再販售化油器機車，並從2008年中全面改以PGM-FI燃油噴射來取代。
如果與化油器引擎相較，搭載PGM-FI噴射系統的引擎不僅經濟性提升15﹪，性能上也有明顯進步，而且為了與環保節能接軌，泰國版的PGM-FI引擎可使用E20生質燃料，這也是當地首度出現的新玩意。
當然HONDA也估計採用PGM-FI後成本必會反應在售價上，消費者要面對恐怕雙方有段陣痛期，不過為了環保，咬著牙也必須撑過去。
