老兵不死換「心」動力，下一代HONDA Super Cub吃電就好

歷經50年全球銷售超過6000萬輛的Super Cub，可算是HONDA非常成功的商用車，但隨著電池技術進步與環保議題受到重視，HONDA有意開發純電動的新世代Super Cub，無論續航力或性能絕不輸給汽油引擎！
隨著四輪領域的電動化逐漸成熟，和電池的技術與性能提升，再加上國際原油價格持續飆漲，甚至上看每桶150美元，替代傳統石化燃料的新動力已經迫在眉梢，因此全球最大機車製造商HONDA，早已開始進行電動機車的研發，且在短期內就會投入市場。
根據日本HONDA社長福井威夫接受當地專業媒體採訪時表示，如果和汽車相比，電動機車對於性能與續航力的要求比較低些，且多利用在都會區或短程通勤，且機車的重量更輕，所以電池功率與體積必然較車用來得小；當然構造簡單成本低也是一大誘因。所以在能源與污染危機一次出現之際，發展電動機車就成為最簡單的因應之道。
Super Cub即將在今年八月迎接50歲生日，福井威夫透露未來下一代Super Cub將有可能會推出電動版，主要是Super Cub在全球知名度高，若以量制價的話成本必可降低。
