2008倫敦車展搶先報：OPEL Insignia掀背版確定與房車一起首演！

不久之前，歐洲GM集團總部就不斷地釋放出全新一代OPEL Insignia的消息，這款用來取代原有中大型房車 Vectra的全新世代中大型運動豪華房車，確定本月下旬的2008倫敦國際車展發表，但房車版的外觀與內裝全數曝光後又有新消息！
根據最新外電消息指出，原廠已經確定五門掀背版本會與三廂四門房車聯袂在本月下旬開幕的2008倫敦國際車展舉行全球首演，讓這款瞄準包括Mondeo與Passat的新世代運動豪華房車上市後可以迅速發揮火力！
此外，根據原廠表示全新Insignia掀背車款車身長度將達到4830mm，軸距尺碼達到2737mm，與四門房車同樣提供寬敞的豪華車室空間，不過掀背尾門的設計則提供更多樣化的空間利用機能。
原廠同時表示，全新世代的OPEL Insignia新車，動力系統將全面符合2009年元旦開始實行的歐盟五期環保排廢標準，甚至有部分動力系統稍加調整即可符合更為嚴格的六期法規。
原廠將在新車系提供三具汽油引擎，入門車款搭載排氣量為1.8升的直四引擎，最大馬力為140hp，頂級動力旗艦則搭載排氣量為2.8升的渦輪增壓引擎，最大馬力達到約260hp的水準；柴油動力方面，將提供排氣量為2.0升的共軌柴油引擎，低輸出版本最大馬力為110hp，另外還有最大馬力為160hp的高輸出版本，此外也將於稍晚追加稱為EcoFLEX的環保節能版本。
此外，新車將首度導入稱為FlexRide的主動懸吊系統，以及稱為 ‘Adaptive’ AWD 的全新全時四輪驅動系統，而新車將率先於年底之前於歐洲市場發售。
