    再會City、四門Fit來取代,HONDA世界戰略新方向!

世界戰略車City可能會由2013年12月第三代Fit四門取代
於1981年誕生並成功打入20-30歲消費族群的第一代City,到1994年在日本停產後便移往泰國生產,同時車型也從掀背變成四門,並以City之名在許多市場銷售,而City的地位就由2001年登場的Fit取代,如今City也已經發展到第五代,並成功打入歐亞中產階級消費群。不過現在HONDA似乎有意改變方針,在開發第三代Fit之際新增四門版本,目的在於取代City。

泰國生產的City曾以Fit Aria在日本販售
根據了解,第三代Fit預計在2013年第二季問世,動力上除了標準的1.3L和1.5L兩具汽油引擎外,還有1.3L的Hybrid等三種選擇,車型上仍舊為五門掀背,但還會增添CUV,不過最大汽車市場的中國卻另有需求,那就是消費者希望能有Fit大小的四門Hybrid房車,畢竟目前中國正實施限牌政策,但電動車和Hybrid車並不在規範內,為了能順利購車並符合使用習慣,四門Fit Hybrid就是最佳選擇。

縱使中國已有City(廣汽本田鋒範),外觀雖然新穎,但內部結構仍屬於上一代的設計,且HONDA為了打開Fit的知名度,遂決定在新Fit產品陣容中新增四門房車版,開發代號2CT的Fit四門版,預計2013年4月推出量產試作車型,2013年12月發表,2014年正式量產販售,並陸續在泰國、馬來西亞、印度、菲律賓和中國生產,推測車身尺碼約4400×1695×1470mm,動力上則集中在1.5L汽油引擎和1.3L Hybrid兩種動力(部分市場可能會提供柴油心臟),並和CVT、六速手排搭配組合,基本上外觀造型與現行City非常類似,同時導入HONDA最新的設計概念,以迎合市場的需求。

既然要開發Fit四門版,那麼現有的City怎麼辦?據說可能部份市場仍會保留這個車名,但HONDA將逐漸以Fit取代,看來2001年在日本稱為Fit Aria即將重新復活,只是能否再創高峰,就看2013年底問世後市場反應了。
