2013底特律車展搶先報：HONDA都會跨界CUV面容乍現

早在2012年9月之時HONDA即宣佈了下一世代Fit車系當中，除了會保留原有的五門掀背車型外，更會順勢衍生出一款四門房車與都會CUV等新陣容，並預告在2013年的美國底特律車展上優先推出都會CUV的概念車型。隨著2012年底原廠發佈第一張概念剪影以來，這輛想搶占小型休旅的實際樣貌就不斷被媒體討論。
直到底特律車展開幕前幾天HONDA終於發表兩張清楚的廠圖；提前炒熱車展氣氛。車頭面容設計很明顯的延續了旗下暢銷的CR-V外型設計走向，中央廠徽兩側鍍鉻飾條左、右延伸融合至大燈內，創造出銳利有神的車頭面容。車側部分則採時下流行的Coupe線條設計，並將後車門開啟手把隱藏至C柱上以減少來車門擁擠感。
另外一張廠圖為先前發佈的「New Urban SUV Concept」車側身影清楚版，鮮明的輪拱顯造型結合帶勁上揚的車體線條，後窗線下滑的幅度也相當符合都會車的風格走向，搭配大尺寸車輪設定將運動休旅的精神全面顯現。由於此車是定位在CR-V之下，推斷車身長度將會被控制在4200 mm上下、軸距2500 mm左右。
概念車在2013年底特律車展亮相後最快將在2014年量產，而銷售市場更還會擴大到歐洲、日本、中國等其它地區，因此同級對手囊括剛發表的PEUGEOT 2008、RENAULT Captur外還有歐洲、日本市場上表現不錯的OPEL Mokka 以及NISSAN Juke，美國市場則是BUICK Encore、CHEVROLET Trax為最大對手。
