夢想起飛！HONDA Jet現身美國2013 EAA AirVenture航空展

在日系汽車品牌當中，HONDA可說是相當傳奇的品牌，從一開始以二輪領域起家後，一路到四輪領域，接下來更邁向機器人開發，最後則是以HONDA Jet宣告進入航空領域，而在去年底正式進入量產的HONDA Jet，近日也在美國2013 EAA AirVenture航空展現身，同時這也是HONDA Jet首度的公開亮相。

EAA AirVenture航空展可說是美國一年一度的航空盛會，而這次出現的兩架HONDA Jet，分別採取紅白、藍白兩種塗裝，並且在會場上進行編隊飛行的展示；事實上，這兩架HONDA Jet分別是第三以及第五號FAA認證機，從2010年開始，HONDA一共陸續打造了六架的HONDA Jet來進行FAA美國聯邦航空局的認證。

其中三號機是在2011年的11月加入計畫，並且被用來進行機械系統的測試，包括煞車系統、機鼻輪轉向以及飛行系統的測試，同時也被帶到亞利桑那州進行耐熱測試，並前往位於維吉尼亞州的NASA Wallops飛行設施進行濺水測試；至於五號機則是在2013年的5月份才加入測試計畫，進行了包括座艙、內裝、選配項目以及FAA功能與可靠性的測試，同時五號機也是第一架搭載量產版本內裝鋪陳的HONDA Jet。

擁有5.43×1.52×1.51m機艙、12.99×12.12×4.56m尺碼的HONDA Jet擁有6名乘客的標準配置，是HONDA自行開發設計的短程商務噴射客機，最大航程為2185km，在13106m高空中的巡航速度為778km/h，在OTWEM（Over the Wing Engine Mount）的技術架構之下，透過將引擎置於主翼上方，並和機體緊密連結，如此一來降低風阻，並創造出更好的速度和燃油經濟性，比起同級機型的400海浬(約740km/h)表現更好，油耗更節省30%，售價為450萬美元。
