    2013東京車展搶先報:個人移動工具再進化,HONDA UNI-CUB β更輕、更小、更靈活

台北市政府交通局為推廣民眾騎乘自行車作為短程接駁交通工具,推出了所謂微笑單車Ubike的租賃系統,設置在捷運站、學校等通勤族的主要集散地,靠著便利性、合理的收費、簡易的電子化操作平台,蔚為一股風潮,甚至許多人潮眾多的站點經常缺貨,造就了都會短程移動的代步工具似乎有其商機存在;但身為科技大國的日本更是詮釋了「科技始終來自人心」的理念,諸如TOYOTA Winglet或是HONDA UNI-CUB就是在這樣的設計理念下誕生的都會短程代步工具。

早在2009年東京車展時,HONDA便推出宛如有輪子板凳的個人交通工具U3-X概念版,其實與Segway的概念相仿,都是利用陀螺儀技術保持平衡,身體傾斜角度和重心則控制速度與方向,藉由身體重心調整成等速;2012年推出更精進的版本UNI-CUB,還可藉由了智慧型手機操作,並率先展示於日本科學未來館,還可用來當作導覽員在諾大的展館中穿梭的代步工具。

歷經了一段時間的測試後,針對受試人員的意見進行改良,HONDA也在近日宣布了更進階版的UNI-CUB β,依然是採用HONDA獨自開發的平衡控制技術(來自ASIMO)與全方位驅動車輪結構(HONDA Omni Traction Drive System),不過將原先的520×825×745mm尺碼大幅調整為510x315x620mm,並且在材質上也輕量化,減輕至25公斤,體積更小、重量也更輕,提供更為輕巧、靈活的移動方式,同時收納空間也更為便利。

另外,採用鋰離電池為動力源,充飽電後續航力為6km,極速6km/h略比人步行速度快一些,僅應用於無障礙空間或是室內環境,相信對於展館導覽員、捷運、地鐵的接駁工具、巡視工廠、展間、表演廳的代步工具,都是相當智慧又省力的代步工具。
