HONDA人形機器人Asimo跟大家說再見！Asimo研發即將中止

根據日本產經新聞的報導，HONDA已經中止了該公司招牌的人形機器人Asimo的研發工作，該公司表示未來將把研發重點移往更有實用性的機器人身上，像是照護型機器人和運送型機器人等。
雖然是與世人揮別，但Asimo身上所潛藏的科技，根據報導，將運用在未來其他的器人之上，也就是HONDA已發表的新一代的機器人：3E Robotics Concept，這組機器人在今年初的CES消費性電子展中全球首發，都具有人性化與展功能，其中一具機器人還能擬人類具有各種表情。
Asimo,代表本田的原創性移動生活先進科技，是在2000年發表，當年本田決定投入機器人研發，迄今經過10年半，Asimo在2005年度對外公開，是世上第一具能以雙腳行走的機器人，而從2006年起，Asimo也曾四度來台參加台北車展。Asimo在2011年了大幅度改造，增了動作功和AI人工智慧，可以做繁複細膩的手部動作。雖然Asimo的研發中止了。但Asimo的技術其實已運用在本田的汽機車製造中。
