為「抗疫」盡一份力，HONDA提供50輛特殊改裝車載送武肺患者

雖然目前國內的武漢肺炎疫情可說是控制得相當好，鄰近的日本先前則是單日新增確診743人創下新高，想然距離將疫情控制下來，還有一段路要走。不過日本的汽車製造商，也對自己國家做出許多貢獻，如口罩、防護衣與呼吸器等等，其中HONDA更提供50輛特殊改裝，用來載送武漢肺炎患者前往醫院或檢疫設施的車款，給予日本政府運用。
HONDA使用了Odyssey與Step WGN兩款車型來進行修改，透過在駕駛座與後排乘客區域之間設置了不透氣的隔板，並且針對空調系統進行調整，單向的通分系統可使新鮮空氣能夠從車輛前檔玻璃、雨刷下方進入車室內部，接著流通到後排乘客空間，接著再從後方排出，進一步減少駕駛受到感染的機會。
最初，HONDA是將這類車款提供給東京的衛生單位，目前已經交出兩輛，未來也將會提供給鄰近的琦玉縣，同時HONDA也打算提供更多這類的車輛，以幫助國家對抗COVID-19病毒，不過它們也強調，這只是專門為載送武漢肺炎患者的車輛，並非是救護車。
