承諾疫情結束可重回崗位，NISSAN與HONDA皆因疫情影響暫時裁員

由於各家車廠的工廠近期都因為疫情暫時關閉，NISSAN近日則宣布，將在位於美國的工廠暫時裁撤大約10,000名員工，主要將影響田納西州及密西西比州的工廠員工；而HONDA也宣布將讓美國工廠當中多達一半、總計超過10,000位的員工暫時休假，主要則是影響俄亥俄州及阿拉巴馬州的工廠。
NISSAN方面，已宣布工廠停產時間將持續至少到四月底，不過，車廠強調，當重啟生產之時，所有暫時被解雇的員工都能夠重回崗位，員工也能夠保留他們之前工作時所擁有的福利，像是醫療保健等等福利；而發言人也透露，實施臨時裁員將能維持企業運營，而受影響的員工將有資格申請像是失業救濟金等政府補助；不過，還是有某些進行必要性工作的員工不會裁員；車廠方面則再次強調，之後計畫會將所有臨時因疫情解雇的員工在重啟工廠時提供工作崗位。
同為日系車廠的HONDA，則表示目前影響到俄亥俄州及阿拉巴馬州的員工，但之後這個政策將套用至其他州，而強制臨時休假的時間預估會在四月底結束，像是之前，HONDA方面就與FCA同樣計畫五月初要重新開始生產；最後，發言人也表示，對於強制休假的員工，還是能夠拿到直到本周日的薪資，而且也能夠申請政府失業補助。
不過，因為新型冠狀病毒疫情仍無法預測，因此最後是否能夠在四月底重啟工廠仍然不確定，車廠方面則都表示，將會隨著實際狀況而評估關廠的時間。
