HONDA改造Odyssey，捐贈10台供美國底特律地區接送潛在新冠感染患者

HONDA近日表示，正向美國底特律地區提供10輛經過特殊改裝的Odyssey，以幫助城市在疫情影響之下，能夠安全地接送潛在感染新冠病毒的人們進行測試；而且，在本週二就交付了這幾台改造的接送車輛，期望在防疫這塊盡力提供協助。
在改裝方面，車廠首先在前座與後座之間加裝一個透明且不透氣的塑料面板，而通風系統也進行調整，保持前後車廂之間的氣壓差異，以在接送過程中，盡力減少司機或是工作人員被感染的機率。
底特律及密西根州官方都對車廠這台特殊的改裝接送車輛有興趣，而之前，也有報導指出，車廠同時正計畫改裝Odyssey以及Step WGN小型貨車，提供日本當地將患者運送到醫院或檢疫設施的專屬接送車輛；至於美國，美國規格的Odyssey八人座車型則是由位於俄亥俄州雷蒙德（Raymond）的HONDA研發機構完成改裝任務，而且在大約兩週內的時間就完成這項任務。
而底特律則受到新型冠狀病毒爆發重重打擊，截至本週一，就已有近9,400例確診病例，並有1,000多起死亡病例，讓當地政府建立了一個大型快速篩檢站點，並統計，到目前為止，已有20,000多次測試完成，主要則針對當地居民或員工來進行測試。
