    HONDA下一代Insight心臟更大,2013年問世與Fit Hybrid作區隔

2013年問世的下一代Insight將換裝1.5L汽油引擎
被TOYOTA是為最可敬對手的HONDA,無論是Stream、Fit、Insight、Stepwgn都讓TOYOTA感到威脅,尤其在Hybrid領域HONDA更研發出自家系統,然而策略上的錯誤卻讓Insight的銷售不如預期,因此隨著Fit Hybrid的出現,HONDA也開始針對新一代Insight作定位和產品調整,根據AutoNet所獲得的獨家訊息,預計2013年問世的新Insight,不僅底盤平台煥然一新,引擎也升級為全新開發的代號AP2直列四缸1.5L引擎,同時外觀造型也更符合空氣力學,如此便能和Fit Hybrid作區隔。

IMA系統將是HONDA複合油電技術的核心所在
雖說Insight較Prius於日本早三個月發表,然而銷售成績卻大不如對手,其中最受人詬病莫過於動力上的不足,因為Insight的1.3L引擎(88hp)不如Prius的1.8L心臟(99hp)來得有力,且Insight與Prius的複合油電系統的總輸出馬力,也呈現88hp+14hp對上136hp的不對等數據(主要是HONDA IMA與TOYOTA THSII在設計與運作方式的差異),在兩相比較下消費者開始往Prius靠攏,創造日本市場每月平均銷售超過2萬輛成績,而Insight也僅剩下4000-5000輛的規模。所幸在Fit小改款後HONDA推出的Fit Hybrid相當爭氣,不但讓Fit車系銷售超過2萬輛,其中70﹪訂單為Hybrid車型,因此為了和搭載1.3L心臟的Fit Hybrid作區隔化,HONDA決定針對下一代Insight擬定新戰略。

就現階段掌握的情報來看,新一代Insight將採用全新開發的底盤平台,造型上與現行款非常神似,但會修飾得更流線且低扁,以創造更優異的空氣力學;尺碼約為4450×1695×1435mm左右,比目前車款的4390×1695×1425mm要略大些,而這些更動對HONDA來說都是小兒科,真正的重點在於動力心臟。既然1.3L引擎的輸出功率讓消費者不滿意,又無法和對手抗衡,以發動機起家的HONDA對於引擎開發最在行,故將從1.3L引擎進行擴缸和修改,變成代號AP2的1.5L直列四缸汽油引擎,同時具備可變汽門正時與揚程VTEC(Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control System)和連續可變汽門正時VTC(Variable Timing Control)兩大獨門絕技,也就是i-VTEC,估計光引擎馬力輸出就可達95-100hp左右,若進行電動馬達和電池系統的升級,應該會產生20的功率,如此一來整體功率輸出總合約在120hp之間,帳面數字和Prius的136hp更為接近,相信這對消費者而言接受度應大出許多。此外,平均油耗勢必也會也更好成績出現。

因此在Insight、CR-Z、Fit Hybrid陸續到位後,接下來重頭戲將是Civic Hybrid與Accord Hybrid,據說還有Stream Hybrid也在規劃中,看來HONDA的複合油電陣仗可不輸給TOYOTA,至於最終誰能勝出?或許就得靠銷售量來決定!
