V8或V10的NSX，HONDA新一代當家跑車開發中

已經正式停產的HONDA跑車NSX，從1990年問世共達15年之久，先前曾有傳聞HONDA將不再生產此車，實際上卻不是如此，因為原廠可是秘密進行開發工程，據說極可能採用F1的技術呢！
HONDA曾在2003年東京車展中推出一款概念車HSC，那時許多人就猜測HSC等於NSX後繼車，然而等了三年後，連個影子都沒有，根據日本HONDA的說法，早在1998年就有NSX後繼車推出計畫，但成本高與跑車市場明顯萎縮的雙重影響，整個開發計畫處於停擺狀態，觀望市場的動態。
然而這幾年跑車似乎有死灰復燃的跡象，所以HONDA的新NSX開發計畫再度啟動，現階段將以中置引擎為主，但是否會搭載四輪驅動還在規劃中，不過在動力心臟方面，將藉助F1科技的力量，讓V8或V10成為動力來源。根據AutoNet所得到訊息，現在HONDA所積極進行的是V10 DOHC 4.0升引擎研發工程，最大輸出功率以500hp/45.0kgm為目標。
不過呢，新NSX要問世還得2-3年的時間，所以會有什麼樣的變化都還不清楚。但唯一確定的是HONDA旗艦跑車絕對會復活！
