雖然NSX已經停產，但HONDA一直以來都未放棄開發超級跑車的決心，尤其在F1獲得優異表現，更讓原廠將不少技術注入新車型開發上。
根據AutoNet所獲得的獨家訊息，HONDA將在2007年底特律車展中推出最新一代NSX，不過此並非量產車型，而仍屬於概念階段，但仍可從概念作品嗅出箇中滋味。據說新NSX的動力心臟為一具4.5升V10引擎，最大輸出馬力將可達550hp，且HONDA最擅長的高轉速功力也展現在NSX的心臟上，猜測紅線區可能落在9000rpm左右。
此外，FR驅動模式基礎加上SH-AWD四輪驅動系統，可是擁有鋁合金輕車體NSX的標準設計，而且更厲害的是，新NSX可能會採用雙離合器配置，因為這樣的設計最接近原廠需求，也就是讓車主能享受真正的駕馭樂趣。」
所以再忍耐一下，明年就可看到NSX的雛形了，但未來是否掛上HONDA，據說將換成ACURA！
