|
持續分散風險，北美將成HONDA車款生產出口主力之一

在日系車廠當中，HONDA乃是最早在北美進行設廠生產動作的一個品牌，1982年，HONDA在美國俄亥俄州設立了Marysville廠，至今已超過30年的時間，乃是該品牌在北美最具歷史的廠區；而近日該場第100萬輛用來出口的車款正式從生產線駛出，而這堪稱是HONDA未來在全球產能調整計畫上的一個新開始。
近幾年，日系車廠不斷遭逢天災以及日幣匯率影響，這也使得各品牌紛紛出招因應，除了持續將日本本國的產能降低之外，也開始在世界各地設廠進行分散風險的動作；其中HONDA的部份，為了進一步將產能分散，近日也表示未來北美地區將會成為旗下車款主要的出口國之一。
在近幾年，HONDA早已對這項計畫進行布局，並陸續投入了超過22億美元的資金進行各項升級與投資，而北美HONDA在2012年有望達到10萬輛的出口量，同時出口量也將繼續向上成長，便是幾年來布局的成果；目前HONDA在美國、加拿大以及墨西哥都有生產基地，並且整個北美生產的HONDA車款，則是被出口到全球40多個國家進行銷售。
根據HONDA原廠的計畫，目前打算在2014年先將北美地區現階段163萬輛的年度產能，提升到192萬輛的水準，而出口的產品陣容，則是包含現階段的HONDA Civic、Accord、CR-V、Pilot、Odyssey、Crosstour以及Ridgeline至於豪華品牌ACURA方面則是包括ILX、TL、RDX與MDX。
