成長23％，HONDA在2012年於全球共售出381.7萬輛各式車款

北美是HONDA的最大市場，因此在美國設有許多的生產基地。
|
在TOYOTA宣布全集團在2012年於全球共售出高達974.8萬輛的年度銷售報告之後，HONDA也隨即宣布其2012年全球銷售記錄報告，而根據資料顯示，HONDA旗下包括HONDA及ACURA兩大品牌，共締造381.7萬輛的成績，較2011年承受311地震與泰國洪災時僅剩的慘況，成長幅度高達19％（官方數字，但驗算後應為23％！）
根據統計，HONDA在2012年於日本本土共售出74.5萬輛的各式車款，較2011年的50.3萬輛成長48％，其中包括有42.3萬輛的一般車型於32.1萬輛、俗稱K Car的輕型車，而海外市場則以美國為最大宗，共締造了142.2萬的銷售，亞太地區則以43.2萬輛位居第四大市場，但以寫下新高記錄，而HONDA在中國也交出了60.3萬輛的成績，雖然穩居第三大市場，但是因為釣魚台事件的發生，卻較2011年的62.4萬輛微幅衰退。
有趣的是，HONDA在2012年共於全球生產了高達411.0萬輛的各式車款，較2011年的290.9萬躍升41％，但其中僅有102.9萬輛是在日本本土製造（其中出口21.3萬輛），其餘全是依靠海外的生產基地來生產。
事實上，2012年的HONDA不僅交出大幅成長的好成績，事實上也寫下了有史以來的新高記錄，不僅是在全球銷售的部分寫下歷史新高，同時在生產規模的部分也同樣是歷史新高紀錄。
