HONDA科技巡禮（End）：再創五十年新高峰

1946年本田宗一郎於日本靜岡縣濱松町創立的HONDA，是以機車為主要業務，1963年以輕型貨車T360正式進入四輪領域，並導入諸多的新技術，讓歐美車廠對這個來自東北亞的對手更加敬畏，並在車壇風光長達五十年；2013年HONDA更展現最新實力，期望能再創另一個五十年新高峰。

回顧HONDA在技術上的發展，為了降低污染，1972年所開發的CVCC複合渦流混合燃燒引擎，可是全球第一具通過美國Muskie低廢氣排放法案規範的環保動力傑作，1989年的VTEC可變氣門，不僅可同時兼顧性能與經濟，更引領其他車廠跟進，甚至還於1995年發展出三階段VTEC，同時1989年G20A直列五缸引擎的問世，讓AUDI直呼HONDA室可敬的對手；1997年的IMA則成功地結合油電混合，將動利科技帶入新境界。此外，1974年HONDAMATIC自排變速箱、1987年4WS四輪轉向系統、1990年NSX的全鋁合金車體、1995年全球最成功房車底盤SUV的CR-V、2002年燃料電池車FCX等，都在車壇引起不小的震撼，並讓對手紛紛在後頭跟進。

邁入21世紀後，節能環保成為一大趨勢，HONDA雖然在Hybrid有著Insight、CR-Z、Civic、Accord等作品，在高成本的燃料電池則有FCX，於歐洲更有柴油動力，但卻在Downsizing的潮流中缺席，因此憑藉技術本位的優勢，全力開發新世代Earth Dreams科技，以小排氣量VTEC引擎為基礎，針對不同車型賦予差異化的渦輪增壓，達到性能、環保與經濟性兼具的優勢，搭配HONDA既有的操控樂趣優勢，讓所有世代消費者能再度感受真正的「本田魂」。

除了動力科技，HONDA也在車體輕量化、變速箱、智慧安全行車等下了不少功夫，預計在未來五年運用在量產車上；同時在二輪、住家、航空、發動機等領域也大有斬獲，此外還有最新的生產基地也正式啟動，且根據HONDA的計畫所有新生產流程、設備也會陸續移植到全球其他工廠，以創造節能、低汙染、高效率、高品質的最佳成果，以替地球和人類環境盡一份心力。

想當初本田宗一郎的「夢」隨著HONDA努力逐一實現，才能在2013年讓四輪順利達到五十年，如今以嶄新的技術和規劃為基礎，再度邁向新高峰，這也令人非常期待下一個五十年的到來，只是那時我恐怕已經化為塵土，相信下一代必可充分感受HONDA所帶來的高技術力。
