提供12萬輛年產能，HONDA印度Tapukara整車生產廠正式啟用

近年來，東南亞地區的經濟發展，讓許多車廠紛紛投入當地市場的經營，其中印度就是其中一個相當熱門的地區，而進入印度市場已經有一段時日的HONDA，其Tapukara整車生產廠也在近日正式啟用，而這乃是HONDA位於印度的第二座生產基地，預估能讓HONDA於印度地區的年度總產能成長到24萬輛。
事實上，早在2008年這座位於印度Rajasthan的Tapukara廠就已經啟用，只是當時僅是第一階段的運作，投入沖壓產線以及動力系統生產線的部分，不過當時正好遇上印度當地的汽車貸款利率上升與16年來最嚴重的通貨膨脹，HONDA原廠便將計畫暫緩，如今Tapukara整車生產廠終於正式啟用，整個廠區具備了包括鍛造、沖壓、動力系統組裝生產、焊接、塗裝等，算是一個全功能的廠區。
而HONDA印度Tapukara整車生產廠預計第一輛下線的車款會是以Fit底盤基礎打造的Brio Amaze，而預估該廠能夠提供12萬輛的年產能，並將HONDA於印度的年度產能提升一倍而來到24萬輛的水準。
另外HONDA在印度也交出相當火熱的銷售狀況，根據原廠統計，從2013年4月到2014年1月，HONDA在當地超過10萬盧比的車款一共賣出了101,370輛，不但銷量首度突破10萬，更交出了78%的優異成長表現，同時也是在所有競爭對手當中成長幅度最高的品牌。
