對市場銷量幫助不大!HONDA正式取消Accord Coupe雙門車型

這幾天車壇最熱門的討論話題無非是HONDA推出了全新的第十代Accord了,這款車不僅首度邁向了渦輪化動力,還將搭載10速自排變速系統,對TOYOTA Camry等中型房車而言,無疑投下了顆震撼彈。然而正當多數車迷仍沉浸於全新Accord所帶來的獨特內外觀造型時,最近根據外媒報導指出,此代Accord將不會有雙門車型出現,甚至以後也將不會有Coupe版本,亦即雙門Accord未來將成為絕響。
根據外媒《Roadshow》報導指出,一直以來Coupe車型占Accord的整體市場銷量都屬非常小眾,對車廠的收益幫助非常小,也因此原廠鐵了心決定正式將此車型從Accord的家族陣營中移除。如此一來,對於愛好平價Coupe的消費者而言可能不會是項好消息,而這也是繼多年前Toyota Camry Solara以及NISSAN Altima Coupe退出市場後,又另一平價雙門車型黯然走入車壇歷史洪流。除了這些日本品牌近年來逐漸向主流市場靠攏外,美國品牌的操作手法也如出一轍,像是CHEVROLET、DODGE以及FORD等老廠也都玩得保守,僅針對旗下的Camaro、Challenger及Mustang等經典雙座跑車較為積極些。不敢再推陳出新其他Coupe作品。
儘管如此,雖然日前第十代Accord車系已經發表,但第九代的車仍老神在在的繼續賣,當然也包含了Coupe雙門車型。以2017年式的Accord Coupe來看,目前北美市場報價約莫為24125美元(約為新台幣73萬元),且在動力系統方面也有2.4升直四(可輸出185hp/25kgm)以及3.5升V6(可輸出278hp/34.7kgm),因此若對雙門Accord帥氣造型情有獨鍾的消費者而言,手腳可能要快一點了。
