    本田七代Civic家族SEMA改裝展陣勢龐大!

儘管國內因為品牌經營權轉移的關係﹐目前本田七代Civic掀背車系暫時無法來台銷售﹐但目前在賭城Las Vegas上演的SEMA北美改裝車展﹐本田派出了多輛Civic改裝重兵﹐從以本田改裝著稱於世的日本無限改裝廠(MUGEN)推出的Mugen Si﹐以及由加州本田結合原廠與當地改裝好手所共同推出的Si Concept之外﹐還有以全美直線加速賽規格為改裝藍本的Si Pro Drag Car等﹐在國內已經好久不見的Civic改裝熱潮﹐正在太平洋的彼岸正逐漸吞噬著加州豔陽下的公路呢!

由日本無限的北美授權經銷商King Motorsports操刀的Civic Mugen Si﹐目標是要將Civic變成征服彎道的小鋼砲!動力系統方面搭在了本田原廠代號K20 DC5R的DOHC VTEC引擎(排氣量1998c.c.)﹐搭配六速手排變速系統﹐擁有240hp的最大馬力輸出;另一輛由原廠Si車行為藍本的改裝概念版本﹐在裝上GReddy T518Z渦輪增壓系統之後﹐也擁有230hp最大馬力﹐原廠賽車部門更提供競技規格的硬朗懸吊系統﹐名廠Brembo 的全套煞車系統(四活塞對向卡鉗)﹐18吋大尺碼低扁平比跑胎搭配鈦合金輪圈﹐以及與本田重型機車CBR相同的車身塗裝﹐引擎進氣系統與排廢尾段更融入高檔的碳纖維材質﹐車室內更配置碳纖維/功夫龍材質桶型賽車座椅﹐以及賽車及數位液晶儀表顯示屏幕﹐除了各項必要的駕駛資訊之外﹐更具備車況檢測電腦的輔助功能。

另一輛在SEMA會場上引起熱烈討論的﹐就是這輛造型極度誇張的Civic Si Pro Drag Car﹐以北美直線加速比賽規格為改裝藍本的這輛Civic﹐在SEMA車展開幕當天由專業直線加速賽車手Adam Saruwatari親自到場揭幕﹐並且即將在明年的直線加速賽事中登場﹐以該賽事的NHRA Pro-Comp級別為改裝規範﹐Civic Si Pro Drag Car動力系統搭載一具馬力超過一千匹的3.2升V6引擎(來自於NSX)﹐車身採用強度極高的賽車管狀結構﹐而且還改成後輪驅動配置﹐還加裝了 Tial Sport 的渦輪增壓系統、MOTEC M880引擎管理系統、G-Force序列式五速手排變速系統﹐以及East-West的鈦合金可調式離合器﹐懸吊系統採用Hansen提供的賽車規格套件﹐還有EIBACH品牌的ERS短彈簧、ENKEI專為直線加速賽事打造的鋁圈﹐駕駛艙載配置的是SPARCO桶型賽車椅﹐與MOTEC的數位資訊式液晶儀錶顯示機制。
