2004 Montreal Auto Show：賽事限定車款！HONDA Michelin Challenge Civic DX Coupe

根據來自加拿大Montreal的報導，正在加拿大舉行的車展會場中，本田發表一款稱為Michelin Challenge Civic DX Coupe的全新車款，完全按照Michelin Challenge比賽規格打造，也同時宣佈本田將進軍該房車賽事！
除了將參加Michelin Challenge 之外，這輛賽事專用車款，稍後也將參加包括Grand Prix大賽，其實早在1975年本田就開始Civic掀背車款參賽，也因此培養超過400位賽車手，包括Richard Spenard、Tony Morris、Frank Allers與 Jacques Villeneuve Sr. 等加拿大籍車手，本田車隊可以說是加拿大籍賽車手的搖籃！
由於本田在加拿大也進行的大筆的投資，包括建廠生產ACURA MDX與HONDA Pilot等車款，加上豐厚的賽車背景，而今年即將參賽的這輛Michelin Challenge Civic DX Coupe，除了車身彩繪與必須的空力套件之外，原廠更將車內不必要的舒適配置全數移除，並且導入賽車專用的儀錶組與桶型座椅，還有一副保命的車身防滾籠。
