七代Civic雖然與台灣緣淺，但是在歐美日各地依舊受到相當多消費者的肯定，尤其在歐陸市場七代車系更為本田深耕當地市場打下穩固的基礎，不過推出時間已久的七代車系，也終於在日前推出小改款，希望能夠在產品成熟期再創巔峰！
重新設計的前保感與氣壩，明顯提升的七代Civic車系掀背車的運動氣息，而頂級車型更配置了HID頭燈，搭配改為四圓燈組外附玻璃罩的整體配置，也讓新Civic的雙眼看來炯炯有神，此外車身飾條與車尾牌照框也經過重新設計，整體變動幅度雖然不大，但一比較其實就可以看出其間的差別。
另外，為提升非性能版車型的產品包裝，稱為1.6 Sport的三門車型，原廠則導入與Type R相同的前保桿與氣壩造型，讓預算不豐的年輕人，也能夠擁有Civic Type R個性化的外觀，這也讓七代Civic的運動化車型，總共擁有1.6 Sport、Type S與Type R三種配置；至於性能迷最關心的Type R車型，在原廠針對離合器與飛輪重新調整之後，預計其0-100km/h起步加速將可提升到6.6秒的優異水準，不過正式在歐陸上市的時間將延至明年二月，其餘小改款車型將在年底至明年元月陸續進駐歐陸的本田銷售據點，而原廠至今也尚未公佈歐規小改款車系的建議售價！
