就是小才能擺在家外面，HONDA開發第四代氫燃料補給站

隨著FCX量產化，HONDA早就做了萬全準備，那就是開發能補充能源的氫燃料補充站設備，經不斷開發並結合相關廠商的科技後，最一代的成果開始在美國加州進行實地測試，預計在幾年內就可正式設立。
由HONDA美國R&D與PLUG POWER所共同開發的氫燃料補給站「Home Energy Station」，目前已經發展到第四代，也就是「Home Energy Station IV」，如果和第一代的系統相比，第四代的體積成功地縮小了70﹪，且還具備家用發電機與氫燃料兩種電池切換裝置，只要按下開關控制，就可將提供給車輛的氫燃料瞬間轉換成家用電力，可說是暨環保又節能。
因為燃料電池車將會越來越普及，且顧及到未來能提供給家庭使用，HONDA美國R&D所開發的「Home Energy Station IV」，著重在高效率與小型化兩大特點，如果和一般車輛及傳統電力相比，這種藉由氫燃料所提供的電力，可有效降低二氧化排排放量30﹪，並減少電費約50﹪左右，對於消費者口袋與環境保護都有密大幫助。
目前HONDA美國R&D與PLUG POWER先行在美國加州洛杉磯Torrence市進行測試，在收集相關數據並獲得當地州政府認可後，將可推展到一般消費者家庭，只不過售價成本依然很高，並非小老百姓所能負擔。
