    HONDA Freed也要Hybrid化!2011年春天日本生產開始

2008年5月在日本正式發表的Freed,是與Fit共用底盤所開發的小型休旅車,超過1年半的市場考驗仍人氣不減,不過HONDA可不以此為傲,甚至在Insight、CR-Z陸續問世,Fit Hybrid也即將於2010年秋天現身的情況下,將在2010底左右發表Freed Hybrid,並從2011年春天於日本琦玉製作所生產。

車身尺碼僅為4215×1695×1715mm的Freed,共有三排七座/八座與雙排五座兩種配置,雙滑門設計和寬敞多變的空間,加上可坐人的第三排座椅,讓這款以Fit底盤為基礎的小型Minivan成為市場寵兒,在日本短短兩星期訂單破萬,2009年總計銷售79,525輛,榮登日本新車銷售排行第七名,也是繼Fit、Insight後第三款熱賣車。當然Freed之所以獲得青睞,還有其經濟性與操控性,搭載直四1.5升的引擎不僅擁有118hp/6600rpm馬力和14.7kgm/4800rpm扭力,且配置能提升引擎順暢的CVT變速系統,故能創造16.4km/l的平均油耗。

不過HONDA自家研發的Hybrid系統IMA相當成熟,且節能環保已是目前的趨勢,因此HONDA決定將IMA系統裝載於這款售倒消費者歡迎的Freed上。然而要投入Freed Hybrid的生產,勢必要進行生產線調整,所以HONDA的鈴鹿製作所(位於三重縣鈴鹿市)負責馬達等Hybrid組件生產,位於琦玉縣狹山市的琦玉製作所則進行組裝,HONDA估計在Frdde Hybrid正式生產後因Hybrid組件需求度增加,得以有效降低生產成本,這對於HONDA來說可是能提高獲利,對於消費者而言可以更低價格享受Hybrid科技。

至於Freed Hybrid會不會有左駕版,目前HONDA正在評估中,不過若要進行右駕改左駕恐怕又是一大筆開銷,倘若需求量足以支撐生產開發成本,那麼Freed Hybrid左駕版就有希望了。
