Cub自排款僅限泰國，HONDA Wave 110i AT給大家方便

隨著變速系統越來越聰明，加上民眾對於便利的要求越來越高，手排車在全球所佔比例有逐年下降趨勢，如今這股風潮也吹到機車界，除了速克達幾乎清一色搭載自排變速箱，現在就連部分腳排換檔機車也改為自排，其中HONDA針對泰國所設計的東南亞版Cub-Wave 110i，現在也順勢推出自排車款，以搶攻當地將近五成的自排市場。
在東南亞市場小綿羊速克達並非主流，而是以腳排檔、無離合器、四速或五速、跨座型態、大尺碼輪胎的機種，在車廠精心打扮下早就跳脫商用車風格，其中在泰國擁有60﹪以上佔有率的HONDA，更以日本長青樹Cub為基礎衍生出Sonic、Nice、Wave、Dream等機種，而HONDA在泰國專事機車銷售的HONDA Company，更於日前在當地發表搭載最新自排變速系統CV Matic的Wave 110i AT車型，並從3月起開始銷售，售價只要44,900泰銖，約新台幣4.5萬元，對於Wave 110i AT原廠可是相當有信心，因此訂出年銷售5萬輛的目標。
Wave110i AT所使用的CV Matic，是從小型車用自排變速箱為技術基礎，導入新開發冷卻結構，讓傳動皮帶不致過熱減少使用壽命，另外因變速箱擁有小型化特性，故有助於日後車體設計。Wave 110i AT除了在泰國銷售，接下來也會陸續出現在越南等市場。
由於2009年泰國機車市場規模達154萬輛，HONDA就銷售了101萬輛，而自排機種在整個泰國市場銷售71萬輛，因此HONDA相中這將近一半的佔有率，決定推出Wave 110i AT來搶攻這50﹪市場。
