判決逆轉仍求完善！HONDA Civic Hybrid廣告不實部分解套

先前曾為各位讀者報導過，HONDA於2003-2009間在美國市場推出的油電混合動力車的Civic Hybrid車款，遭車主投訴廣告不實誇大車輛的節能效果並遭該名消費者於利用網路聯署同車型多達20萬車主共同向HONDA求償，法院最後判決HONDA需支付每一名車主100元到200元（約新台幣2,951元到5,902元）的賠償金額，該型庫存車也需採取優購方式回饋給消費者，預估整體的賠償金額上看1億7000萬元（約新台幣50.2億元）。
依據最新的外電消息指出，HONDA在收到判決後的隔週立即向加州最高法院提出最高上訴，並提出多項官方認證報告與詳細的數據資料予檢察官。經過了一個多月的調查，加州最高法院則一改先前的判決，針對Civic Hybrid油耗數據的表現不實部分HONDA將不需再支付購車車主賠償金！
宣讀判決的Dudley W. Gray大法官表示，車輛的性能表現數據均經過國內認可的公正單位於規定的場地內進行測試，車商所公布的表現數據可作為車輛表現的基準，但實際的車輛表現會因消費者自身的操控方式與駕車習慣而有所誤差，故以改判！然而，聽到改判通知的HONDA則表示能會提供該車型的優惠購車方案並加強銷售人員的基本訓練，並針對提出訴訟的20萬既有車主提供免費的車輛檢修方案並有專人定時追蹤車輛的使用狀況。在這個以客為尊的消費年代，要締造真正的雙贏局面相當不容易。
