    日裔老美更精進,第九代HONDA Accord試駕(上)

猶記得我對Accord的第一印象,是當初以進口車身分從美國首度登台,擁有啟閉式頭燈和帥氣造型的第三代Accord,爾後導入國產化後的歷代Accord隨著市場變化朝豪華靠攏,雖然氣派度增加,定位也變成中大型房車,個性化元素卻略來越少,逐漸讓人淡忘27年前我眼中的Accord,如今第九代再度以美國進口身分回台,底盤設定和動力一新,就連造形設計也在豪華與個性之間取得中庸,在實際試駕後發現,比起第八代確實有明顯進步,且還是天與地之間的差別。

從1976年發展至今已經37個年頭的Accord,在Legend尚未問世前可是HONDA當家旗艦,車長真正邁入4.8m是在第六代小改款之後,反觀第三代也才4.5m左右,到了第八代居然變成龐然大物,車長直逼5m達4930×1847×1476mm,軸距更長達2800mm,這樣不斷地「成長」除了讓Accord的定位一直往上,甚至還失去原有了樂趣基因,當然此舉也讓不少死忠派失望。所幸在經營高層換人也萬腦袋下,第九代Accord終於有了回歸初始的影子,4880×1850×1465mm尺碼和2775mm軸距都小幅調整,同時在LED燈組、銳利腰線、引擎蓋折線、「U」字型水箱護罩飾條(這似曾相似的造型,原來已經出現在FCX、Odyssey、N Box上)等的共同組成下,形成更具跑格卻又不失豪華的樣貌,當然這也受到更多消費者青睞,贏得市場高度讚揚,畢竟HONDA魂再度顯現在第九代Accord上。





此外,為了提升運動化風格,前氣壩導入蜂巢狀結構,且前保險桿下方更刻意營造出類似擾流翼的造型,整體來說降低不少成熟穩重的老派成分,畢竟Accord的主要客層不在老年人,也非年輕族群,而是35-45歲之間的社會中間份子,所以太過老氣或是年輕恐怕都會讓消費者卻步,因此HONDA採用最保險的中庸之道,當然這也和第九代Accord的定位相吻合。其實會有如此的考量,全基於世界戰略考量,過去曾以Inspire和Accord劃分為美/亞規和日/歐規,兩者在動力、外觀乃至底盤配備等都有差異化設定,雖然對不同市場有所區隔是好事,卻會造成消費者困擾,同時就HONDA的立場此舉也增加成本,所以在規格統一的策略下第九代Accord就以「無國界」概念打造,於兩種規格各取精華,因而形成目前的形態。

就這回在北台灣所試駕的第九代Accord為頂級2.4VTi-S Exclusive,也就是配置225/50R17輪胎、LED頭燈、LaneWatch盲點偵測、SmartKey系統、電動調整座椅、衛星導航等行頭的車型,動力為全新開發的2.4L直列四缸引擎,並和CVT變速相組合,且懸吊也從雙A臂改成前麥弗遜、後多連桿結構,雖說這整個組合下獲得美國媒體高度讚揚,但漂洋過海來到台灣後會有什麼樣的表現?或者會發生水土不服的狀況?敬請鎖定AutoNet汽車日報針對操控、配備、性能等表現的後續報導。
